UICapture, powered by Panopto, can create digital recordings of audio, video, and screen content via a software application that is installed on Windows, macOS, iOS, or Android. UICapture records this content, processes it, and can make the content available as streamed presentations and downloadable audio and video podcasts. It can be used to record, upload, manage, and share lecture recordings and produce audio/video files made for in and out of the classroom. You can use UICapture for a long list of tasks, including storing and sharing your recorded Zoom meetings, hosting an informative podcast, student video assignments, and much more.

UICapture is the lecture capture system used here at the University of Iowa. ICON and UICapture are fully integrated. UICapture content can be easily linked to ICON courses or other websites.This allows faculty and students immediate and simple access to lecture capture and other multimedia tools.
