Learning Spaces Technology has designed and installed assistive listening systems in select University Classrooms. While there are several types of assistive listening systems, Learning Spaces Technology focused on designing and installing systems using the audio frequency induction loop. This system is also known as a hearing loop system and consists of various audio inputs (microphones and computer workstations) integrated into a space’s A/V system, an audio loop driver component for transmission to a space-installed induction loop, and various types of audio loop receivers.

The interactive scheduling displays allow instructors, students, and staff to schedule learning spaces via a calendaring system. Interactive scheduling displays platform are available in two platforms: Evoko, and Meetio. Both solutions offer online integration with Office365 and utilization analytics. The Evoko is an interactive scheduling display that is a turnkey solution providing remote management for configuring, updating, and overview for campus resources. The Meetio interactive scheduling display is an all-in-one solution providing remote management for configuring, updating and overview for campus resources.

The UICapture (Panopto) appliance and remote recorder allows for complete and reliable capture of one to four projectors/monitors with UICapture integration and scheduling in select classrooms. The UICapture appliance and remote recorder is an ideal solution in select classrooms where content can originate from personal devices via an in-room HDMI connection (laptops, tablets, etc.,) or shared content via a wireless presentation device (Solstice,) or handwritten content from digital drawing tablets/monitors (Wacom, SMART, etc.).

UICapture allows for the creation of digital recordings with audio, video, and screen content via a software application that is installed. UICapture records this content, processes it, and makes the content available as presentations and audio and video podcasts. ICON and UICapture are integrated, allowing faculty and students immediate, secure, and simple access to captured content; however, UICapture content can easily be linked to ICON courses or other web sites.
