Solstice is a wireless collaboration software for meeting and learning environments that allows users to easily share an unlimited amount of content, or an entire desktop, from their laptop, mobile device, or tablet to the in-room display. The Solstice Pod connects to the room monitor or projector and Wi-Fi or Ethernet network to facilitate collaborative content sharing. The Mersive Solstice platform transforms meeting spaces into collaboration hubs, allowing groups to work in more dynamic and productive ways. 

Get started with Solstice

Install the Solstice application on any device to share content wirelessly in spaces equipped with Solstice. Solstice is available for Android, iOS, iPadOS, Microsoft Windows, and MacOS.

  • For smart phones and tablets, download the Solstice app from an app store, consider searching for Mersive Solstice to narrow search results. 
  • For departmental computers and devices, please contact ITS Help Desk.
  • For personal laptops, input the IP address found on the screen. Follow the prompt to download the software or navigate to www.mersive.com/download. If you encounter a not a secure connection notification, change https to http, or use advanced settings to continue. 

Before using Solstice, connect to the eduroam wireless network. Solstice is not compatible with any other network. Guests without access to the eduroam wireless network will require a guest HawkID access.

To run Solstice after installing it: 

  1. Use Quick Connect to enter the IP address [128.255.x.x] found on the presentation screen.* (necessary for first time use; hereafter, you need enter four-digit Screen Key only)
  2. Enter four-digit Screen Key from presentation screen.
