Learning Analytics Specialist, Research and Analytics
Biography

Salim supports faculty in making data-informed decisions about their teaching through direct consultation and facilitating the development of learning analytics tools. He collaborates on research projects pertaining to learning in the context of higher education. 

He has extensive practical experience in program evaluation. Because of his prior work with TRIO programs such as Upward Bound and Student Support Services, he is particularly interested in research and interventions that help undergraduates as they transition from high school into college. He is also broadly interested in how insights from the learning sciences can benefit people in their everyday lives, help programs achieve their desired outcomes, and inform the design and use of technology.
