Jeremy Dietmeier

Biography

Jeremy Dietmeier is a course improvement coordinator. He provides support and coordination for improvement projects across campus, with a special focus on Hawkeye Introductory Course work.

Jeremy earned his PhD from the University of Iowa. His research focused on family learning in informal spaces, specifically looking at parents’ experiences in children’s museums and the ways they support learning. In that work, he gained experience in collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data about learning and using those insights to inform and improve the learning experience. Jeremy also has experience as a TA at the University of Iowa and at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he often tried new pedagogical approaches and incorporated technology to improve learning outcomes and student engagement.
