As we approach summer, we have several Top Hat updates and new features to share. We hope these updates help you as you prepare to use Top Hat in your summer or fall courses.

• LTI 1.1 Removal: Please note that LTI 1.1 will be removed from ICON sites on Thursday, May 22. We encourage all users to transition to LTI 1.3 to continue enjoying seamless integrations and enhanced security features.
• Top Hat Basic Removal: Top Hat Basic will no longer be available after July 15. If you still need the features of Top Hat Basic, alternatives such as requesting a Guest Course are available. Please contact the ITS Help Desk for more information.
• Course Copy Feature: As you prepare your classes, don't forget to utilize Top Hat’s course copy feature. This tool can save you time by allowing you to duplicate existing courses and content easily. Learn how to copy a course or content.
• Top Hat eTextbook Courses: Explore Top Hat’s eTexts offerings, which provides interactive digital textbooks for students at affordable prices. Instructors can order Top Hat eTexts through the ICON Direct Ordering Tool. Visit the Top Hat eTexts page to learn more.
