University Classrooms have two options to control the technology- Button Panel and Touch Panel. These two guides will walk through common uses of classroom technology.

- Press the ON button on the panel.
- If the MUTE button is flashing red, press it to unmute the display.
- Otherwise, press the OFF button, wait for it to stop flashing, and then press the ON button.
How do I display content?

- The default source after starting the room is PC. Log in using your HawkID and password to access your OneDrive, use web browsers, or plug in a flash drive.
- Many rooms have dual monitors; the primary monitor can be used for notes, and the secondary monitor displays on the projector.
- To display content to the room, use the mouse to drag applications from the primary monitor to the secondary monitor.
- Press the DOC CAM button if you need to display a physical object or write on something. If the document camera light does not automatically turn on, press the power button on the document camera to turn it on, and use the other buttons to zoom in and out.
How do I connect my personal device?

- Plug in your compatible device with the provided HDMI cable and press the HDMI button.
- Some classrooms have a USB-C cable as well. Compatibility is not guaranteed for every device, but plug in your device and press the USB-C button.
- Press the SOLSTICE button to display the wireless sharing menu. Additional steps on how to connect are found on the Learning Spaces Technology Solstice website.

- Open your Teams or Zoom call. Use the drop-down menu in the application to set the camera to either the document camera or the webcam. The microphone source should default to the correct option.
- Open an audio test for Teams or Zoom. If there is a wireless microphone, turn it on, then follow the instructions presented by the video conferencing application. If you’re not getting any audio from the microphone, try switching the source.

- Power off any wireless microphones and return them to their drawer or charging station.
- Remember to grab any supplies you brought with you- unplug USB drives, pack up charging cords, collect papers, grab that coffee, etc!
