Role Overview

  • Student: Able to view and interact with content, links, announcements, and discussions. Can't access class address book.
  • Teacher Assistant (TA): Able to manage Calendar, Chat, Class list, Content, Discussions, Grades, Groups, Links, News, Quizzes. Can send emails to the class address book and view User Progress. Able to simulate the Student role.
  • Library Reserve: Able to Manage course files and pages.
  • Teacher: Able to Change calendar events and course state. Manage files, quizzes, assignments, course sections, alerts. View and interact with grades, announcements, student submissions, usage reports, users. Able to simulate the Student Role. Moderate and edit grades, learning outcomes, read SIS data, students in the course, other teachers and TAs in the course.
  • Designer: Able to Change calendar events. Manage files, quizzes, assignments, course sections. View and interact with grades, announcements, student submissions, usage reports, users. Moderate and edit learning outcomes, read SIS data, students in the course
  • Observer: Able to View announcements, discussions, and group pages.
