Anastasia joined the Center for Teaching in spring 2021 as an assistant director. She primarily focuses on course design, DEI pedagogies, and the TILE Program.

Anastasia’s previous experience includes serving as a head teaching consultant at Brown University’s Harriet W. Sheridan Center for Teaching and Learning, where she mentored 21 participants in the Teaching Consultant Program. As a proctor for the Sheridan Center, she designed workshop series and co-developed Brown’s New TA Orientation. She also wrote a piece for the Sheridan Center's newsletter that was recently picked up by "Tomorrow’s Professor." Anastasia has taught Russian language and Russian literature and culture courses at Brown University and Indiana University.

Her interests include SoTL, inclusive pedagogy, course design, transparency in teaching and learning, language pedagogy, universal design, and active learning.
