Who We Are

  • Center for Teaching - The Center for Teaching exists to support excellence in teaching and learning through institutes, workshops, programs and one-on-one consultation. We offer support and resources for any instructor, administrator or staff member involved in teaching and learning at the University of Iowa.
  • Instructional Services - Instructional Services, which includes the Enterprise Instructional Technology team and Academic Technologies team, provides project management, consulting and support for software and enterprise instructional technology services.
  • Learning Spaces Technology - The University of Iowa general assignment classrooms are supported by a team of service providers from across campus who are committed to offering high quality learning environments.
  • Research and Analytics - The Research and Analytics team assists instructors in adopting effective teaching practices that are supported by data and impact student learning. We conduct various analytics-related research and assessment activities that support the instructional mission of the University of Iowa.

Center for Teaching is located above Hills Bank on the 2nd floor of University Capitol Building.

Center hours are 8-5pm.


Front door to Information Technology Services in the Old Capitol Mall.

Enterprise Instructional Technology is located on the South end of University Capitol Building.
