The Academic Technologies Advisory Council is seeking proposals from instructors for the Innovations in Teaching with Technology Awards (ITTA). This program aims to raise the level of teaching and learning at the University of Iowa by funding significant and innovative instructional technology projects with potential to directly impact student success and retention.

Of the 244 proposals submitted since 2001, 78 have been awarded for a total of over $1.3 million.

Proposals for the FY17 awards will be accepted September 15 through October 17. Projects involving collaborative learning and student use of emerging technologies are encouraged, and projects should be new to the University of Iowa.

Tell us about your innovative idea in 150 words or less to be connected with an instructional technology consultant who can help you jump-start your ITTA proposal. Not sure where to start? Review previously funded proposals, the submission guidelines, and the submission form at the ITTA site.
