The Academic Technology Advisory Council is seeking proposals from instructors for the Innovations in Teaching with Technology Awards (ITTA). This program aims to enhance teaching and learning at the University of Iowa by funding significant, innovative instructional technology projects with potential to directly impact student success and retention.
Proposals for the FY18 awards will be accepted September 15 through October 16. Projects involving collaborative learning and student use of emerging technologies are encouraged, and projects should be new to the University of Iowa.
Since 2001, 262 proposals have been submitted. Of those, 83 have been selected and over $1.4 million has been awarded.
Before submitting proposals, applicants are encouraged to contact Steve Tomblin in Information Technology Services at 319-335-6271 or steven-tomblin@uiowa.edu for assistance in determining whether your project is suitable for the program.
