This workshop will include a discussion on the micro-aggressions and macro-aggressions that tend to occur in college classrooms and in predominantly white institutions. It will also include a discussion on how instructors and teaching assistants can provide a safe and inclusive learning space for all students. Participants will learn about and practice various intervention strategies through the use of case studies and role plays. At the end of the workshop, participants will receive additional resources regarding this topic.
